Care/Maintenance

  • Avoid household detergents, dish soaps and wet wipes. They have chemical degreasers that remove the natural oils completely. This results in permanent cracking.

  •  Use a quarter-sized amount of a high quality leather conditioner on a soft cloth or applicator pad. Massage onto vest on all panels in small circular motions. Leave to air dry for 2 hours. Buff off any excess residue with a clean dry cloth.

  • No direct heating. Avoid exposure to radiators, ovens, hair dryers etc, and do not leave in direct sunlight. Excess or forced heat will evaporate the natural moisture and cause the leather to shrink, warp and stiffen, and this cannot be reversed.
